Dionaea changed into a Common Experiment !

They were one of the other experiment types (looked like a red-ish weird looking bird?).

Went to 'zapper 2', it increased the treasure spots. Then the original zapper turned Dionaea into anther experiment type.

Was that supposed to happen?

Yeh, for whatever reason if you get the color change option on V1 when your pet is already an experiment, it changes into a different experiment.
